Kinesiology & Holistic Therapy

If you’ve been feeling out of balance, stuck with ill-health or simply in need of some calm, you’re in the right place. I’m an integrated complementary therapist, trained in Touch for Health, Kinesiology, Hands-on Acupressure, Naturopathy and Nutrition. Our bodies have a natural ability to maintain health and balance, but sometimes we need support to re-activate this system. Holistic Kinesiology is an integration of therapies that use gentle muscle testing and verbal questions to communicate directly with your body’s energy system. This process helps identify and address the root causes of imbalances, allowing your body to prioritise its own healing and feedback on what it needs or does not need.
Think of your kinesiologist as a systems analyst for your body. We tap into your Autonomic Control System (ACS), which subconsciously regulates all bodily functions, to uncover what’s blocking your natural energy flow and find the root cause of imbalance. Influenced by Traditional Chinese Medicine, Kinesiology works on restoring balance, ensuring your body can heal itself and function optimally.
Gentle muscle testing opens a channel of communication that allows the body to select corrections from a uniquely designed system of protocols. A kinesiologist does not diagnose; instead, they explore the body’s biofeedback mechanism through muscle testing, facilitating rebalance by enabling the body to repair itself.
There are many ways that Kinesiology can help improve these types of symptoms:
- Digestion, gut health & IBS
- Confidence and self-esteem
- Fatigue, immune system and brain fog
- Food sensitivity or intolerance
- Hormone imbalances, skin, hair and bone health
- Low mood, anxiety and anger
- Nutrition, discovering optimal supplements
- Migraine and headaches
- Recovery, sports or illness, whiplash and muscle pain
- Stress release
- Past trauma release and phobia relief
Treatments are for those who want to improve something, relax more deeply or maintain their well-being naturally, this list above outlines some of the work I do the most. Kinesiology opens a way to explore how to bring the body back into balance.
Our goal is to complement any medical advice you’ve received and guide you to improved well-being. We offer in-person kinesiology sessions in Surrey, UK as well as online support through kinesiology and dowsing with a visual link. This online approach allows us to work on energetic and health-related issues from anywhere in the world, making it easy to access the care you need.
We work to clear stressors such as environmental toxins, allergens, microorganisms that crate imbalance. A big part of this includes gentle release of non-beneficial emotions like trauma, worries and fears, all of which can create “traffic jams” in your body’s bio-energetic control system.
What happens in a kinesiology treatment?
My goal is to complement any medical advice you’ve received and guide you to improved well-being. We offer in-person kinesiology sessions in Surrey, UK, as well as online support through kinesiology and dowsing with a visual link. This online approach enables us to address energetic and health-related issues from anywhere in the world, making it easy to access the care you need.
We begin by reviewing a health questionnaire that you previously completed and returned to me prior to your session. We discuss anything specific you would like me to work on. In kinesiology, we place your arm or leg into a specific position and apply light pressure against the muscle being tested while you match the pressure in return. You’ll remain fully dressed (loose-fitting clothes and socks are recommended) and relax on a treatment couch while I take you through a series of muscle tests to identify potential imbalances in the body.
Corrections are made depending on what your body needs; each treatment is unique and tailored to activate your self-healing. We work to clear stressors such as environmental toxins, allergens, microorganisms, and a big part of this includes non-beneficial emotions like worries and fears, all of which can create “traffic jams” in your body’s bio-energetic control system. You may also be recommended a course of natural supplements to support your re-balance. Sometimes we hold points and your just relax as energy blocks are removed. We use many different tools in Kinesiology to stimulate the healing energy patterns your body needs:
-
- Acupressure to release or stimulate meridian flow
- Chakra or light body repair for energy healing
- Muscle massage and spinal reflex massage
- Nutritional Supplements and Naturopthy (herbs, minerals, vitamins, gut healers, foods to avoid etc)
- Specialized test vials for metabolic, food and gut imbalances
- Thoughts and memories that mirror the traumas at the heart of mental, emotional, and physical stresses
- Therapeutic magnets to assist with injuries and trapped muscle memory
- Vibrational medicine and activators like flower essences, colour, sound and crystals
- Visual patterns, creating personal goals, and affirmations
At the end of the session, we review your treatment, and any homework required. I recommend at least 3 sessions to really support the body on its healing journey.

If supplements are recommended, it is because they provide support that your body needs. If you’re taking prescription medications, we recommend consulting your doctor or pharmacist to check for potential interactions. The website www.drugs.com has a great cross-checker. Treatments are designed for individuals who wish to enhance their well-being, relax more deeply, or maintain their natural balance. The list above outlines some of the work I do most frequently. Holistic therapists and kinesiologists do not diagnose or treat; instead, they work with you to explore how to bring the body back into balance, allowing the body to utilise its own healing abilities. Kinesiology is not intended to replace conventional medical care, so please always consult your GP or a qualified health professional for medical attention and advice regarding any existing or new symptoms that may arise.

Kinesiology Background

Many aspects of the balance process are based on traditional Chinese medicine, as muscles are linked to internal organs, associated meridians and their emotional and physical correlations. For example, the Triple Warmer meridian represents part of the fire element (energy). When tested, this can indicate an imbalance in immunity, suggesting that the ‘fight or flight’ response is overworking or that exposure to geopathic stress is present.
Touch for Health™ is the origin of energy medicine as studied and created by Donna Eden and is the most widely used kinesiology system in the world. It has its roots in chiropractic and its foundation in traditional Chinese medicine, enabling the inner yin and yang, as well as the five elements, to find the key points that will balance, release tension, and strengthen the whole system.
Health Kinesiology™ aka Bioenergetic Kinesiology ™ was created in 1978 Dr Jimmy Scott which expanded on the procedures from Applied Kinesiology and Touch for Health along with his knowledge and work as a Psychologist and nutritionist. Health Kinesiology continues to grow as Dr Scott, along with input from worldwide HK tutors innovate, research and develop.
